1.1 Screen Display

Here is a sample screen display:

  1. (1) One item (writing, chapter, dictionary entry or appendix) is displayed at a time
  2. (2) Use this bar or the arrows below it to navigate through the pages
  3. (3) This box displays other useful information:
    • WND-1 and WND-2: gosho title, page number(s), link to downloadable PDF and notes
    • LSOC: section title, chapter title, page number(s) and full clickable table of contents
    • OTT: section number, chapter title, page number(s) and notes
    • Dictionary: list of terms under the chosen alphabet

1.2 Page Functions & How They Work

  1. (1) Page navigation bar
    This is to give you an idea where you are in the selected text. Pointing the cursor to a spot on the bar will bring up a hover box with a page number. Click to go to that page.
    • Solid color indicates current page number
    • Light gray area indicates other pages
    • Dark gray area indicates “Background” and/or “Notes”
  1. (2) Bookmark
    This tab indicates the page you have bookmarked.
    • Click on the tab to go to the bookmarked page.
    • Bookmark icon
  1. (3) Navigation Arrows
    Click on the arrows to move to other pages of the text as follows:
    • Go to first page of textGo to first page of text
    • Go to previous pageGo to previous page
    • Go to next pageGo to next page
    • Go to last page of textGo to last page of text
  1. (4) Bookmark iconInsert or Move Bookmark
    • Click this icon to bookmark the page you are currently on.
    • Only one bookmark per book may be created.
    • If you click this icon to bookmark a new page and there is already a bookmark present, the following box will appear:
    • Bookmark icon
    • Click OK to move the old bookmark to this page.
  1. (5) Glossary iconGlossary
    • Click the glossary icon to turn the function on or off.
    • When turned on, all terms in the text having an entry in the glossary will be highlighted in pink. Clicking a highlighted term will take you to the entry.
    • To return to the main text from the glossary, click the ‘Back’ arrow on your Internet browser.
  1. (6) Find text iconFind
    This function enables you to find terms within the text. When you click this icon, a search bar will appear at the top of the screen:

    • Enter a search term in the search window and click the magnifying glass icon (or hit “Enter” on your keyboard). Search results will be highlighted in yellow.
    • The total number of search results found in the text is indicated to the right of the magnifying glass.
    • Click “Find Prev.” or “Find Next” to move through the highlighted terms in the order that they appear in the text.

1.3 Mobile Version

Here is a sample display of the site when viewed on your mobile device:

Enter a search term in the search window and click the magnifying glass icon (or hit “Enter” on your keyboard). Search results will be highlighted in yellow.

  1. (1) The smaller magnifying glass icon on the left is the “Find” function, which enables you to search for terms within the selected text.
  2. (2) The bigger magnifying glass icon on the right enables you to search for terms within the whole book. (When you click these icons, a search bar will appear in the header.)

The bottom area contains:

  1. (3) This box displays other useful information:
    • WND-1 and WND-2: notes
    • LSOC: full clickable table of contents
    • OTT: notes
    • Dictionary: list of terms under the chosen alphabet
  2. (4) Menu displaying more tools. When you click this menu (4), it will expand to show the following tools:

  3. (3) Create or move bookmark
  4. (4) Go to bookmarked page
  5. (5) Turn Glossary on
  6.   Turn Glossary off
  7. (6) Dark text, light background

  10.   Increase font size
  11. (8) View other useful information

2. Page Functions & How They Work

2.1 Header

  • The header displays the abbreviated title of the text, along with two search functions:

  1. (1) The smaller magnifying glass icon on the left is the “Find” function, which enables you to search for terms within the selected text.
    • Enter a search term in the search window and click the magnifying glass icon. Search results will be highlighted in yellow.
    • The total number of search results found in the text is indicated to the right of the magnifying glass.
    • Click “<” or “>” to move through the highlighted terms in the order that they appear in the text.

2.2 Navigation Bar

    • Click the left icon to bookmark the page you are currently on.

    • If you click the left icon to bookmark a new page and there is already a bookmark present, the following box will appear:

  4. (4) Go to bookmarked page
  5. (5) Turn Glossary on
  6.   Turn Glossary off
    • Click the glossary icon to turn the function on or off.

  7. (6) Dark text, light background

  9. (7) Decrease font size
  10.   Increase font size
    • To decrease the font size of the text displayed on a page, click on the smaller “A” (left button). The maximum percentage decrease available is 50%.
    • To increase the font size of the text displayed on a page, click on the larger “A” (right button). The maximum percentage increase available is 200%.
  11. (8) This box displays other useful information:
    • WND-1 and WND-2: notes
    • LSOC: full clickable table of contents
    • OTT: notes
    • Dictionary: list of terms under the chosen alphabet
