Jambudvipa (Jambudvīpa) The continent lying to the south of Mount Sumeru, the “continent of the jambu trees.” It is populated by people with bad karma, and hence Buddhism spreads there in order to bring them salvation.

Jambunada (Jambūnada) gold Gold found in the river running through the forest of jambu trees in Jambudvipa.
