rāga [貪・貪欲・愛] (, Pali; ton, ton’yoku, or ai): Greed, desire, emotion, feeling, love, or passion. Rāga, indicating greed or avarice, is a component of the three poisons, the three sources of vice and suffering; the other two are dvesha (anger) and moha (foolishness). See also three poisons.
