Haklenayashas ［鶴勒夜那・鶴勒夜奢］ (n.d.) (;  Kakurokuyana or Kakurokuyasha): Also known as Haklena or Haklenayasha. The twenty-second of Shakyamuni’s twenty-three, or the twenty-third of his twenty-four, successors. Born to a Brahman family in India during the sixth century, he entered the Buddhist Order at age twenty-two. He received the Buddha’s teachings from Manorhita. He propagated Buddhism in central India and transferred the teachings to Āryasimha.
