Unequalled One ［阿娑摩］ (, Pali asama;  ashama): Also, Unparalleled One. An honorable title of a Buddha. A Buddha is also called “Equal with the Unequalled One” ( asamasama), which means that, while bodhisattvas and other beings cannot equal Buddhas, Buddhas equal one another.
