unhindered wisdom ［無礙智］ ( muge-chi): The wisdom of a Buddha. Wisdom that penetrates without hindrance all things and phenomena throughout time and space. The “Parable of the Phantom City” (seventh) chapter of the Lotus Sutra reads, “The Buddha wisdom is pure, subtle, wonderful, without outflows, without hindrance, reaching to and penetrating immeasurable kalpas.”
