Mahayana Method of Concentration and Insight, The [大乗止観法門] (Chin Ta-ch’eng-chih-kuan-fa-men; Daijō-shikan-hōmon): A work attributed to Nan-yüeh (515–577) of China. It deals with the theory and method of meditation in Mahayana Buddhism. Some scholars question Nan-yüeh’s authorship. See also Nan-yüeh.
