Kinkara ［吉迦夜］ (n.d.) (;  Kikkaya): A monk from Central Asia who translated Buddhist texts in China. In 472, together with T’an-yao, who held the position of national director of the clergy, Kinkara translated the Storehouse of Various Treasures Sutra and A History of the Buddha’s Successors.
