Chih-tu [智度] (n.d.) (PY Zhidu; Chido): A priest of the T’ien-t’ai school in China. A disciple of Miao-lo (711–782), he is known as the author of The Supplement to the Meanings of the Commentaries on the Lotus Sutra. Because he lived at Tung-ch’un, this work is also called Tung-ch’un.
