Collection of Orally Transmitted Teachings, A [授決集] ( Juketsu-shū): A work by Chishō (814–891), the fifth chief priest of Enryaku-ji temple on Mount Hiei, the headquarters of the Japanese Tendai school. It records the oral teachings he received during his stay in China from Liang-hsü of Ch’an-lin-ssu temple on Mount T’ien-t’ai. The Temple ( Jimon) school, a branch of the Tendai school, reveres this work as a foundational scripture.
