Praising Rebirth in the Pure Land [往生礼讃] (Chin Wang-sheng-li-tsan; Ōjō-raisan): Also known as The Verses Praising Rebirth in the Pure Land. A work by Shan-tao (613–681), the third patriarch of the Chinese Pure Land school, which describes the way of practice for attaining rebirth in the Pure Land of Amida Buddha. In it, Shan-tao formulates a method of reciting verses of praise, including those by Nāgārjuna and Vasubandhu, six times a day in worship of Amida Buddha.
