Ten Onenesses, The [十不二門] (Chin Shih-pu-erh-men; Jippunimon): A one-volume work by Miao-lo (711–782) that sets forth the ten onenesses, which include such concepts as the oneness of body and mind, and the oneness of life and its environment. Based on the ten mystic principles T’ien-t’ai expounded in The Profound Meaning of the Lotus Sutra, Miao-lo established the ten onenesses in The Annotations on “The Profound Meaning of the Lotus Sutra.” The part of this work dealing with the ten onenesses was later circulated as an independent text titled The Ten Onenesses.
