Shiiji Shirō [椎地四郎] (n.d.): A follower of Nichiren who lived in the province of Suruga, Japan. Letters written by Nichiren in the twelfth month of 1280 and in the tenth month of 1281 indicate that he was acquainted with two of Nichiren’s leading disciples, Shijō Kingo and Toki Jōnin. Shiiji Shirō received a letter, titled A Ship to Cross the Sea of Suffering, from Nichiren in the fourth month of 1261.
