Sthiramati [安慧] (n.d.) (; An’ne): A scholar of the Consciousness-Only school in southern India, who lived sometime during the fifth or sixth century. He is counted among the ten great scholars of the Consciousness-Only ( Vijnānavāda) school who wrote commentaries on Vasubandhu’s Thirty-Stanza Treatise on the Consciousness-Only Doctrine. Among all the commentaries written on the treatise, Sthiramati’s is the only one still extant in Sanskrit.
