Supplement to “The Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra,” The [法華文句輔正記] (Chin Fa-hua-wen-chü-fu-cheng-chi; Hokke-mongu-fushō-ki): A work written in the eighth century by Tao-hsien, a priest of the Chinese T’ien-t’ai school. In it, based chiefly on Miao-lo’s Annotations on “The Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra,” Tao-hsien annotates passages from the Lotus Sutra and T’ien-t’ai’s Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra. This work is regarded as a useful reference for studying The Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra.
