Secret Solemnity ［密厳］ ( Mitsugon): The name of the pure land described in the Secret Solemnity Sutra. It symbolizes awakening to the ālaya-consciousness, which is equated in this sutra with the Buddha nature. The Pure Land of Secret Solemnity is also identified with the land of Mahāvairochana Buddha.
